国連が定めたSDGsの16番目の目標に「平和で誰もが受け入れられ、すべての人が法や制度で守られる社会をつくろう」があります。
今回の中東における情勢が一日も早く改善し、未来を担う子どもたちをはじめ、何の罪もない人々が傷付くことが無いような平和な世界が実現することを願います。

In light of the current situation in the Middle East：Message from President Ishizaki
The United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 16 calls for the promotion of peaceful and inclusive societies, where all people are protected by the rule of law and effective institutions.
I sincerely hope that the current situation in the Middle East will improve as soon as possible, and that a peaceful world will be realized in which innocent people—including the children who will shape our future—will no longer suffer harm.
