Gunma University Graduation Ceremony for Fiscal Year 2025 Held
Gunma University held its Degree Conferment Ceremony (Graduation Ceremony) on March 24, 2026.
A total of 1,098 undergraduate students and 542 graduate students were awarded their degrees. Among them, 15 representatives from the respective faculties and departments (including 5 international students) received their degree certificate directly from President Ishizaki.
Following this, the Academic Excellence Awards were presented to 21 students, including four international students from China, Mongolia, Malaysia, and Bangladesh.
President Ishizaki delivered the following congratulatory message:
“On behalf of Gunma University, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to all graduates. I commend your perseverance and commitment to learning, shown in overcoming the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As you move forward, I encourage you to make meaningful contributions to society in a wide range of roles, including as educators and researchers, and professionals. The experiences you have gained with fellow students from diverse backgrounds will serve as a bridge to the global community.
Wherever your path may lead, please continue to share the appeal of Gunma and Japan with the world. I sincerely wish you continued success, good health, and happiness.”
