Fulbright Visiting Professor Pays Courtesy Call to the President
Through the Fulbright Exchange Program, Professor Cesar Escalante at the University of Georgia, has begun his activities at Gunma University as a Distinguished Visiting Professor. He paid a courtesy call on President Ishizaki and exchanged views on his forthcoming activities at the university.
In Spring semester 2026, Professor Escalante is scheduled to join in a new special program, the Interdisciplinary Program for Global Frontier Leaders (I-GFL), for undergraduate students. In this program, he will conduct co-taught classes for Japanese and international students. At the graduate level, he also plans to deliver lectures on agribusiness and agricultural finance issues in the United States.
