Message from Sakura Motoki
“Since April 2025, I have been studying at the Graduate School of Food and Population Health Sciences. At this world championship, I was able to win my first-ever gold medal.
Balancing my studies, work, and athletic career would not have been possible without the constant guidance and support from the faculty members and researchers in my school and laboratory. I am truly grateful for the environment that allows me to devote myself fully to my competition.
I am scheduled to participate in the U23 World Championship this October. If I win, I will achieve a Grand Slam, becoming only the third person in history to do so. I sincerely appreciate your continued support and encouragement.”
