第５回群馬大学未来先端研究機構国際シンポジウムの開催（10/23 13:00～）The 5th International Symposium of Gunma University Initiative for Advanced Research (GIAR) to take place on Oct. 23rd
群馬大学未来先端研究機構による第５回国際シンポジウムを開催します。本シンポジウムでは、近年めざましい発展を遂げている質量分析計を用いた解析手法に焦点を当てました。セッション１では、メタボロームおよびプロテオームの領域で最先端の研究を行っている研究者にご講演いただきます。セッション２では、私達の健康と環境曝露の関係を網羅的に捉えることを目的とした新たな研究領域、エクスポソームについてご講演いただきます。さらに、特別講演では、リピドミクスの手法を用いた血中脂質の多様性解析を大規模コホートにて推進するMarkus Wenk博士にご講演いただきます。最新の知見を得るとともに、共同研究の推進及び研究者間のネットワークの拡大を図るよい機会となります。多くの方のご参加をお待ちしています。

This year, GIAR will host a half-day symposium focusing on mass-spectrometry-based omics research. In Session 1, we will have lectures on basic and clinical applications in the metabolomics and proteomics fields. In Session 2, we will have lectures on the exposome, a developing research field with the aim of understanding the relationship between the full complement of all environmental exposures and health. In a special lecture, Dr. Markus Wenk will speak about the application of lipidomics to understand the natural variation in blood lipids at the population level. We encourage everyone to take advantage of this opportunity to hear cutting-edge science and to stimulate your own research. We look forward to your participation!
