Faculty of Engneering & Graduate School of Engneering

The Faculty of Engineering takes pride in its 80-year tradition which has led to respected accomplishments in research. The University has provided distinguished graduates in the field of engineering over these years as well. The curriculum is constantly adjusted to reflect technological innovations and changes in the industrial structure and continuous effort is focused on maintaining a well-balanced faculty and state-of-the-art research facilities.

Responding to the requirement from the world of science and technology today, this faculty plans to incorporate basic research and the most advanced technology to achieve the best results. We present various courses which provide the students with the basic knowledge and technologies in the field of industrial engineering, and general education as well. The focus of our education is, however, on equipping future engineers and researchers not only with abundant professional ideas, but also with broad views and understanding of today's society, so that they can deal with the difficult problems which they will have to face in the new century.

The Faculty of Engineering and the Graduate School of Engineering at Gunma University offers a variety of courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
